「Stray Kids」、独自コンテンツ「SKZFLIX」が国際短編映画祭で受賞の栄誉
”Stray Kids” and original content ”SKZFLIX” win awards at International Short Film Festival
Korean boy group ‘Stray Kids’ experienced the joy of winning an international short film festival award with their original content.

According to their agency JYP Entertainment on the 7th, ‘Stray Kids’ won the ‘Global Spotlight Award’ at the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2024 held in Shibuya, Tokyo, on 4 August with their original content ‘SKZFLIX’.

The Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, an Academy Awards-accredited ceremony, is the largest international short film festival in Asia. This year, more than 4,936 films from 114 regions around the world were entered.SKZFLIX' by “Stray Kids” is a music drama content using the song “Leave” from the mini-album “ROCK-STAR” as background music.The members played the role of members of a film club who grow through various trials and errors.

Stray Kids‘ commented on the award through a video, saying: “We filmed ”SKZFLIX’ with enthusiasm and shared happy memories with the members, but to even win an award is very meaningful. I hope to share the story of ‘SKZFLIX’ with even more people."

Director Kim Byung-jun said, ‘The content started from the imagination of “students working together to make a short film and receive an award”, and we are happy and grateful to have experienced a cinematic moment where that imagination became reality.’

‘Stray Kids’ recently collaborated with pop singer Charlie Puth on the song ‘Lose My Breath’.
