PHUNKY STUDIO: ”Obtained Yoo Jun Won's Japan Fan Meeting contract document... Plans to submit to two entertainment associations”
MBC's "Boys Fantasy - Afterschool Thrill Season 2" production company Funky Studio has announced that it will be releasing a new version of "FANTASY BOYS" member Yoo Jun-won and Apple Music on April 1st.
On the 7th, PHUNKY STUDIO said, "Yoo Jun-won and Apple
"We have obtained the contract documents for Monster's Japan fan meeting. We plan to submit it to the Korea Entertainment Management Association and the Korea Entertainment Producers Association."
In addition, PHUNKY STUDIO stated, "We believe that Yoo Jun Won's actions, including the fan meeting, are illegal and violate the terms of his performance contract."
"We believe this is an act that will cause lasting damage to the production company and investment company of 'Fantasy~Afterschool Heartbreak Season 2'. We will reflect this to the maximum extent possible in the ongoing lawsuit for damages."
Previously, PHUNKY STUDIO announced in a statement that Yoo Jun-won had signed a memorandum of understanding with Apple Inc.
Monster is secretly preparing a Japanese fan meeting with the Japanese performance production company Huckleberry.
In response, PHUNKY STUDIO has expressed its intention to take legal action. Yoo Jun Won appeared in the MBC audition program "Boy's Fantasy - After School Time"
Although it ranked first in "Meki Season 2," it had conflicts with the production company PHUNKY STUDIO over an upward revision of the revenue distribution rate and the unauthorized departure of the team.
Yoo Jun Won then applied for a provisional injunction to suspend the exclusive contract with PHUNKY STUDIO, but the court ruled that the contents of the contract were too vague.
The court dismissed the case, judging that the contract was in accordance with the standard exclusive contract for pop culture artists (singers) set out in the notice of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Yoo Jun-won has responded to the dispute, continuing the ongoing battle.
The first hearing in the lawsuit for 3 billion won (approximately 340 million yen) in damages filed by Studio against Yoo Jun-won will be held on the 27th.
