President Yoon to make state visits to Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan from the 10th to the 15th

South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol will visit Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan as a state guest from the 10th to the 15th of this month. His wife, Kim Kun-hee, will also be visiting the country.
Kim Tae Hee, first vice director of the National Security Office, made the announcement at a briefing held at the Presidential Office in Yongsan on the 7th.
Kim said, "Central Asia, which was the center of the ancient Silk Road, is a strategically important location connecting Europe and Asia."
"With the proliferation of complex global crises, including the Middle East conflict, its strategic importance has increased even more," he said.
