”House of Shinsegae” grand opening, a fusion facility of hotel and department store (South Korea)

Shinsegae Department Store has announced that it has opened a new complex called "House of Shinsegae," which combines a department store and a hotel.
Located adjacent to Hotel Seoul, this new facility is a fusion of department store management know-how, hotel concept, and the service know-how that has been built up over the years.
The first gourmet platform to open (basement 1 to 1st floor) is made up of a "high-end food hall" with 12 restaurants and a "fine wine specialty hall."
The food hall is not just a place to have a quick meal while shopping, but a high-end space that can also be used for business purposes. All 12 restaurants are Korean.
This is the brand's first appearance in a retailer's store. Department stores usually close at 8 p.m. on weekdays, but this store is open until 10 p.m. The lighting in the store is adjusted to 50 to 400 lux depending on the time of day.
The store will also be designed to create a space that will allow customers to enjoy a variety of items. An additional floor will be opened during the July-December period. The store will be called Boon the Shop Mezzanine, an upgraded version of the select shop Boon the Shop.
