President Yoon's approval rating remains in the ”high 20% range” for four consecutive weeks... Majority of people in favor of the decision to ”suspend the effectiveness of the North-South military agreement” = South Korea

The results of a public opinion poll announced on the 13th showed that South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol's approval rating has remained in the high 20% range for four consecutive weeks.

According to the National Barrier Survey (NBS) conducted by the Korea Post Group on the 10th to 12th of this month among 1,005 men and women aged 18 and over for the third week of June, President Yoon's approval rating remained the same as in the previous survey (the fifth week of May).
The percentage of people who said they "trust President Yoon's management of state affairs" was 32%, the same as in the previous survey, while only 29% of people said they "do not trust" him.
The approval rating for political parties was 64%, up 1 percentage point. Meanwhile, approval ratings for the ruling People's Power Party were 29% and the Democratic Party of Korea were 26%. Both the ruling party and the Democratic Party of Korea were down 1 percentage point from the previous survey.
Next were the Fatherland Reform Party (13%), the New Reform Party (5%), and the Progressive Party (1%). In addition, the South Korean government announced on September 19 that it would launch a joint military exercise against North Korea in response to provocations such as the release of dirty balloons.
Regarding the decision to suspend the effectiveness of the agreement, 52% were in favor and 38% were against.
