South Korea gives President Yoon and his wife ”national dog of Turkmenistan” as gift... ”They will raise it themselves”

The Turkmenistan national dog, Alabai, which was given as a gift to South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol and his wife during their state visit to Turkmenistan, will arrive in South Korea on the 18th of this month.
President Yoon plans to raise the gifted dog himself, rather than sending it to a zoo. With the two Alabai, President Yoon now has a total of eight dogs (excluding cats) in his family.
According to the South Korean Presidential Office on the 14th, the Turkmenistan national dog, the Alabai, is scheduled to arrive in South Korea on the 18th after undergoing quarantine procedures. The two Alabai will first be taken to the President's Office in Seoul.
On the 11th, President Yoon and his wife met with Turkmenistan's Supreme Leader and People's Deputy Prime Minister Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The chairman of the meeting presented her with an alabai. First lady Kim Kun-hee said, "I am extremely honored to receive an alabai, a treasure of Turkmenistan," and "It is a symbol of cooperation between our two countries."
