The Korea Franchise Industry Association announced on the 16th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Purme Foundation, which supports the independence of people with disabilities, on the 13th of this month to create jobs for the disabled.
Kim In-kyu, executive vice president of the Franchise Association, said, "The Purme Foundation has been a pioneer in vocational training and job creation for the disabled, including the cutting-edge smart farm platform, Purme Social Farm.
"We will strive to create an exemplary employment model for the franchise industry, which is currently facing a labor shortage, and contribute to improving perceptions of people with disabilities," he said.
The two organizations will use this treaty as an opportunity to work together to create jobs for people with disabilities, raise awareness, sponsor goods, and provide volunteer work.
The DAVICHI Eyeglasses Chain, a member company of the Franchise Association, is comprised of DAVICHI Eyeglasses franchise owners.
He volunteered to wear glasses through the Eye Health and Vision Keeping Volunteer Group, which was established in 2011.
