G-DRAGON (BIGBANG) reveals his appointment as professor at KAIST... ”I'm surprised but excited”

G-DRAGON of the Korean group BIGBANG shared his thoughts on being appointed as a special professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), a national university in South Korea.
G-DRAGON graced the cover of the July issue of fashion magazine ELLE Korea. Standing in front of the camera, he was wearing tweed of various colors, creating a genderless impression.

When asked about his amazing journey, G-DRAGON said, "It was a new challenge for me, so when I first visited the campus, I was surprised and excited.
KAIST is a place where people who are passionate about their fields can study. The students who are so engrossed in their studies that the boundaries between their studies and everyday life are unclear may be seen as students who are pondering and exploring alone in the practice rooms.
"I felt like I was a young man who was always thinking about new things," he said, expressing his love for the new challenge.
When asked about his interests, he immediately replied, "I'm the type of person who feels curious about a wide range of things, rather than a specific field. As a creator, I feel like I want to try something a little more unfamiliar than the old-fashioned way of doing things."
If the field is not my specialty, I am happy to borrow the expertise of others. This is the only way to achieve a higher level of results.
