　On the 9th, YouTube ‘Entertainment Employee’ posted a video titled ‘[Breaking news] Koh Hyun Jung & Cho In Sung pregnancy announcement! Super-luxurious newlywed house’ was posted on the video titled “Super-luxurious newlywed house”.

　The site claimed that the two had been in love for five years and that Ko Hyun Jung had paid 9.5 billion won to Cho In Sung for their newlywed home, all in cash. However, this is clearly fake news. It can be seen that the untruths are cleverly pieced together with numerous photographs.

　In the past few years, Parliament has also taken steps to prevent fake news, amid an increase in the number of ‘cyber-wrecker’ crimes, also known as ‘cyber-wrecking’ crimes, in which celebrities and famous influencers are used to produce fake news and make money from it.

　Recently, the National Assembly proposed an amendment to the Information and Communications Network Law, which would give Neighbour and YouTube, among others, an obligation to prevent fake news.

　The amendment includes penalties for information and communication service providers, such as designating a person responsible for preventing and controlling the circulation of false information and ordering a fine if this is not observed.
