President Yoon: ”The Russia-North Korea treaty is an anachronism”... ”We will respond overwhelmingly to North Korean provocations” = South Korea

On the 25th, South Korean President Yun Seok-yeol called the signing of the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Russia and North Korea an "anachronism that runs counter to historical progress."
President Yoon said at a ceremony to mark the 74th anniversary of the Korean War in Daegu that morning that North Korea had "secretly and vigorously defended its borders against Russia, which started the Ukraine war last week."
"We have concluded the North Korea-Russia treaty and pledged to strengthen military and economic cooperation, which is a direct violation of UN Security Council resolutions," he said. This is the first time that President Yoon has mentioned the North Korea-Russia treaty in public.

President Yoon said, "Our military is maintaining a strong posture to ensure that North Korea will not cross into South Korea under any circumstances.
"We will respond overwhelmingly and decisively to any provocations," he said, adding, "Peace cannot be protected with words. Strong force and an ironclad security posture are the way to protect the country and its people and achieve true peace on this land."
He emphasized.
