Russia: ”The 'Russia-North Korea Treaty' is not aimed at South Korea”... ”We hope that it will be accepted calmly”

The Russian government stated that the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership concluded between Russia and North Korea is not aimed at South Korea.
According to the Russian state-run Sputnik news agency on the 25th (local time), Russian Andrei
"We hope that South Korea will calmly accept this treaty," Deputy Foreign Minister Rudenko said.
"This treaty is a kind of instrument to be sent to countries that wish or have plans to resolve issues on the Korean peninsula and in the entire region through military means," Deputy Foreign Minister Rudenko said.
"It is a warning," he said. He added, "This treaty is not aimed at South Korea or third countries. It is an attempt to further aggravate the already difficult situation in Northeast Asia.
"We hope that South Korea will understand and accept new negotiations," Deputy Foreign Minister Rudenko said.
