Innospace teams up with Italian and Thai space companies for satellite wrap-up party between 2025 and 2027 - Korean media
Space startup Innospace has signed a satellite wrap-up party service contract with two overseas private space companies for the company's small satellite HANBIT.
Prior to this, the company had signed similar contracts with four other organizations, including space companies and universities in Italy and Brazil, for the period from October 2023 onwards. This time, the total amount is $1.541 million (USD, approximately 240 million).
This is an additional order for a business of 6.74 million yen (approximately 1.5 million euros). As a result, the company will receive an additional order from Italian company Shisha, which designs satellite communication systems, from 2025 to 2027.
CShark, which has developed 35 satellites, and EOS Orbit, a Thai company that has developed a communications satellite for space IoT, will be deployed in 2025.
SeaShark will be wrapping up one of its satellites, the Pilot Orbit, in a wrap-up party.
The plan is to wrap-up an additional 100 satellites over the next three years to collect data from around the world.
Meanwhile, EOS Orbit is currently developing a prototype communications satellite called LogSack.
The company signed a contract with LOGSATS to verify the technology of the 3U CubeSat. The company plans to provide real-time data services throughout Thailand by October 2027.
The plan is to form a wrap-up party of 10 low-orbit communications satellites dedicated to IoT.
