”EXO” DO (Do Kyungsoo), first fancon Asia tour Hong Kong performance a success
Korean boy group EXO D.O. (Do Kyung Soo) made special memories with fans in Hong Kong.

On the 29th June, D.O. successfully held his first solo Asian fan concert 'BLOOM in HONG KONG' in Hong Kong.

On this day, D.O. made a brilliant opening by singing 'Mars', the title track of his third mini-album. The audience who filled the venue for his appearance sang the lyrics in unison with Korean shouts and waved their penlights passionately, creating a great atmosphere right from the start.

D.O. addressed the fans, saying, "I'm really happy to be performing in Hong Kong for the first time in a long time". He continued, "As this is my first fan concert, I named the concert 'BLOOM' to express my hope that this time with my fans will bloom beautifully."

The concert consisted of various sections such as recent talks, fan participation events and a live stage. Firstly, 'KyungSoo in BLOOM' attracted attention by generously revealing everyday scenes that were not usually seen, from photos of food he cooked directly to funny episodes that happened in Hong Kong. In addition, D.O. gave his fans an unforgettable memory by not only sharing the behind-the-scenes stories of the films he has appeared in, but also by perfectly performing the tap dance performed by Lo Gis in the film 'Swing Kids' on the spot.

In particular, D.O. added to the specialness of this fan concert with a 'To DO List' corner. He performed a variety of songs that fans had wanted to hear, including AKMU's 'Fry's Dream', IU's 'Knees', SOL's 'Eyes, Nose, Lips', Maroon 5's 'Sunday Morning' and Lee Yong Ji's 'Small Girl (feat. D.O.)'. The excitement of the audience reached a climax with their unaccompanied live performance, moving back and forth between various genres.

D.O., who was making eye contact with fans at close range while going around the audience, performed 'Simple Joys', 'That's okay', 'I Do' and 'My Dear' in sequence with her sweet voice, leaving a deep lingering impression on the audience.

D.O. then said, "I really get a lot of energy from seeing the fans' eyes when I'm close to the stage. We are very happy to share our new songs directly with you through this Hong Kong concert" and performed 'Ordinary Days', 'Good Night', 'About Time' and 'Somebody' from their third mini album 'Growth (BLOSSOM)' as well as the encore song, 'Popcorn'. The setlist was packed with songs from 'Ordinary Days', 'Good Night', 'About Time' and 'Somebody' to the encore song 'Popcorn', completing a performance that you couldn't take your eyes off the stage.

At the end of the performance, fans thanked D.O. for giving them an unforgettable memory with a slogan inscribed with 'Gyeongsu, my heart explodes like popcorn every time I see you'. Fans also prepared a surprise video event introducing local food for D.O., who is usually known as a gourmet, adding to the excitement. To this, D.O. replied, "Your fans are really full of taste", showing his love for his fans that never changes. Finally, D.O. commented on the performance, "I hope this performance will be a good memory for everyone. I'm happy that it's a good memory for me too" and promised to meet them again.

Meanwhile, D.O., who successfully completed his fan concert in Taipei and Hong Kong starting from Seoul, will continue his tour schedule by visiting nine Asian cities including Jakarta, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Yokohama, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Manila.
