Dawon's agency FNC Entertainment revealed that 'Dawon will enlist in active duty on the 1st July'. Dawon will be the fourth of the 'SF9' members to enlist, following Inseong, Yongbin and Jae Yoon.
On the day of his enlistment, no separate official event will be held to minimise congestion at the site.
Kim Jae-hwan from boy group 'Wanna One' will also enlist on the same day. Kim Jae-hwan's agency WAKEONE informed that "Kim Jae-hwan, who volunteered for the Army Military Band, received a final acceptance notice from the Military Service Agency.
Kim Jae-hwan, who will be inducted privately on the same day, will undergo basic military training and then fulfil his national defence duties with the military band.
Da Won debuted as 'SF9' in 2016 and released 'Good Guy', 'Now or Never' and 'Summer Breeze', which received great love.
Kim Jae-hwan appeared on season 2 of Mnet's PRODUCE 101 in 2017 and debuted as the project group Wanna One. In 2019, he turned solo and released various songs.
