Jeong Do Yeong's new face in the movie ”Revolver”... Character stills revealed

On the 1st, the movie "Revolver" (director: Oh Eun-sook) revealed Jung Do Yeong's character stills. "Revolver", which is scheduled to be released in August, is about a man who takes the blame for all his crimes and ends up serving time in prison.
The film tells the story of Soo-yeon (played by Jung Do Yeong), a former police officer who entered a prison and then, after being released, pursues a single goal. Jung Do Yeong said, "How can I show a slightly different side of myself?"
Director Oh Seung-wook said, "I thought about whether I could do it," and said he was concerned about showing the changes between the past and the present, such as new hairstyles and costumes.
"I wrote the epic story of a hero with a heart of steel while thinking about his incredible ability to empathize," he said, raising expectations for the character that only Jung Do Yeong can portray.
"I have never acted with this kind of appearance or emotion. The director said, 'I found a new face for Jung Do Yeong,' and I was very touched by his words," he said.
"The film captures a side of Jung Do Yeong that we've never seen before. Jung Do Yeong is a veteran who instinctively grasps the key points of a scene," he said.
This is the second time they have worked with Jung Do Yeong since "Thirsty Sin," and they showed their unstinting praise and special trust in him.
"The bold idea and appearance of 'keep your promise of my time' is good.
"Soo-yeon is a person who tries to carve out her own path in life," said Jung Do-Yeong, who expressed his affection for the character. He also expressed the feelings of loss that Soo-yeon felt after being released from prison and the feelings of regret that she felt after being released from prison.
He will show multiple layers of emotion on his expressionless face, including anger at people who do not protect their bond. "Revolver" will be released in theaters in Korea on August 7th.
