INFINITE's Sunggyu joins musical Kinky Boots' 10th anniversary performance

According to TNE, Sunggyu will play the lead role in the musical "Kinky Boots," which will open on September 7 at the Blue Square Shinhan Card Hall in Seoul.
"Kinky Boots" is an adaptation of a true story about a British shoe factory that was on the verge of bankruptcy but was later turned around and became successful.
The Broadway production, which became a Hot Topic, premiered in South Korea in 2014.
This year marks the sixth season and the 10th anniversary of the show. Sung-kyu plays Charlie, a shoemaker who inherited his family business and is on the verge of bankruptcy.
He is a character who struggles alone to save the situation. Previously, Sunggyu played the role of Charlie in "Kinky Boots" which was performed in 2020 and 2022, and received love from the audience.
During this time, Sunggyu has appeared in many hits including "Kinky Boots," "Gwanghwamun Love Song," "Excalibur," "Kinky Boots," "Redbook," and "Dear Evan Hansen."
She has since solidified her reputation by appearing in numerous musicals. "Kinky Boots" will run until November 10th.
