韓国旅行中に脳死状態に…臓器提供で5人の命を救ったタイ女性
Thai woman saves five lives by donating organs after being rendered brain dead during a trip to South Korea
The Korea Organ and Tissue Donation Center held the Prima Rontongkeumkul ceremony at Inje University Haeundae Baek Hospital on the 5th of this month.
On the 10th, it was revealed that a brain-dead donor, Rungthongkumkul (35), had passed away and passed away, saving the lives of five people through organ donation.
Lonthong Kumkul, a resident of Bangkok, Thailand, was traveling with a friend in South Korea on June 27 when she lost consciousness and collapsed and was taken to hospital.
However, she never regained consciousness and became brain dead. Upon hearing the news that Longtongkumkul had collapsed, her family immediately left Thailand for South Korea.
Despite aggressive medical treatment, Rontong Kumkul was left brain dead and we had to say a sudden farewell.
The family was deeply saddened, but rather than let him die, they wanted him to live on in someone else's body, so they agreed to donate his brain-dead organs, donating his heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys (both), and saving five lives.
Born in Bangkok, Thailand, the second of three children, Ronthong Kumkul is always cheerful and has a joyful personality that brings happiness to others. When she sees someone suffering around her, she gives them a hug and gives them strength.
She was a positive person who gave her all. Longthongkumkul worked as a hair designer at a beauty salon in Bangkok and always worked hard to achieve her dream of becoming a world-famous designer.
He enjoyed traveling, playing with cats and spending time with his family. Director of the Korea Organ and Tissue Donation Center Lee Sam-yeol said, "I came to Korea for a trip and made a brief connection with Rontongkeumkul.
What you gave us is not just five new lives. You have taught us the precious value of life and the warm heart of love that allows you to share your precious life with a foreigner who has no connection to you.
I'm grateful that they did."
