51% of Democratic Party leaders opposed to Lee Jae-myung's reappointment... President Yoon Seok-yeol's approval rating hits lowest since taking office at 26% - South Korean opinion poll

On the 11th, a public opinion poll showed that President Yoon Seok-yeol's approval rating for his administration was at its lowest since he took office.
M-Brain Public, KEI Stat Research, Korea Research, and Hankook Research conducted a survey of 1,000 men and women aged 18 and over nationwide from the 8th to the 10th.
According to a National Barometer Survey (NBS) conducted on the 100,000 people, 51% were against Lee's reappointment, while 35% were in favor. 68% of Democratic Party supporters were in favor, while 35% of People Power Party supporters were in favor.
Regarding the Democratic Party's push to impeach prosecutors, 40% answered that it was a legitimate use of the National Assembly's authority against corrupt and political prosecutors, and 40% said it was retaliation for the investigation into former Chairman Lee.
The responses of "sexual harassment" and "sexual measures" were tied at 40% and 40% respectively. When asked about President Yoon Seok-yeol's assessment of his management of state affairs, 26% said he was "doing a good job" and 66% said he was "not doing a good job."
Compared to the survey conducted a week earlier, the number of positive evaluations fell by 1 percentage point, while the number of negative evaluations rose by 2 percentage points. President Yoon's approval rating for national affairs was 27% immediately after the April 10 general election, the lowest since he took office.
However, in this latest survey, the approval rating was even lower. The approval rating for political parties was 30% for the People's Power Party, 27% for the Democratic Party, 12% for the Fatherland Reform Party, 5% for the New Reform Party, 1% for the Progressive Party, and 1% for the Support Party.
None. 24% answered "I don't know" or "no answer." Compared to the previous survey conducted two weeks ago, the People's Power Party rose by 1 percentage point and the Democratic Party of Japan rose by 2 percentage points.
