Onew (ONEW) of the group SHINee will release a surprise new song ahead of their comeback. Onew will release a digital single today (15th) at 6 pm on various music sites.
Onew will release a solo song for the first time in about a year and four months since his first full album "Circle" was released in March 2023.
"Mon-TueWed-ThuFri-Sat Day" is a jazz R&B pop song with a fun beat. It uses addictive melodies and rhythmic rhythms to ease the boredom of a repetitive daily routine.
Onew participated in writing the lyrics himself, adding a fun atmosphere with a pop charm that is different from the warm sensibility he has shown so far.
Prior to the release of the music, Onew's official YouTube channel posted a special clip of "Mon-TueWed-ThuFri-Sat Day."
The video shows Onew singing the new song in various everyday spaces, such as a room, a study, and a kitchen, as if watching a musical.
Onew will make a comeback in September with their third mini album "FLOW."
As the album title suggests, they are determined to make this autumn a "season of gentleness."
