The members of BLACKPINK, who positioned themselves as global stars, are full of crisis as they are unfolding their second act as solo artists.

BLACKPINK, which rose to the top of the global star ranks after its debut in 2016, only re-signed with YG Entertainment as a group in December last year, but as solo artists, they are taking different paths. JENNIE, LISA and JISOO have established their own individual labels and are walking their own paths, while ROSE has signed an exclusive contract with THEBLACKLABEL, led by producer TEDD.

Music video director Gabriel Moses recently raised the plagiarism allegation on his SNS, pointing out the similarity of some scenes in the song 'FE!N' from US rapper Travis Scott's album 'UTOPIA', which he directed.

Along with this, he said, "They [the LISA side] contacted my editor for this scene. My editor said 'NO', but they pushed through anyway", he added.

Gabriel Moses asked the LISA side to clarify their official position until the end of the month, but the LISA side has yet to clarify their position. Internet users, after confirming that similarities had been raised, reacted on the side of the original author, saying, "If the original author said 'no', isn't it moral not to?".

On the other hand, JENNIE was also sacked for the indoor smoking fiasco. In a recent video on JENNIE's YouTube channel, JENNIE was caught smoking an e-cigarette indoors and blew out cigarette smoke in front of a staff member's face, causing controversy.

In response, OA Entertainment, JENNIE's agency, said: 'We apologise to all those who were offended by JENNIE's behaviour. JENNIE also regrets that she smoked indoors and caused damage to other staff members".

They added "(JENNIE) also contacted the staff who were on site at the time directly and apologised to them. I also apologise to the fans who felt disappointed. We will repay them with a more mature appearance in the future".

However, despite this apology, public opinion remained cold. This is because JENNIE's past conduct was mentioned again and the fact that it was discussed and acknowledged as a problem caused a sense of disappointment.
