鬱陵島の一周道路に「130トン」の落石…一時「通行止め」=韓国
130-ton rock falls on Ulleungdo road, temporarily closing road = South Korea
Approximately 130 tons of rock fell on the road surrounding Ulleung Island in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, causing a temporary closure of the road.
According to the North Gyeongsang Province Fire Department on the 15th, a 13-year-old man was killed near a tunnel on a circular road in Ulleung County at around 8:50 a.m. on the 14th.
A rock weighing about 100 tons broke through the rockfall prevention net and fell onto the road. No casualties were reported, but traffic on the road was suspended due to damage to parts of the road.
The Ulleung County authorities used excavators and other equipment to remove the rocks, and traffic resumed at around 10:40 a.m., about two hours later.
