Trump attends Bitcoin 2024 conference despite injury: 'Shooter, you can't change my dates'

Despite being injured in a shooting while campaigning, former President Trump will still attend the Bitcoin conference he was originally scheduled to attend, News 1 reported.
Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett said through X (formerly Twitter) that former President Donald Trump, who was shot during a campaign rally, will attend the Bitcoin Bitcoin Exchange this month.
"I will be attending the 2024 Conference as scheduled," he said. The Bitcoin Conference will be the world's largest Bitcoin-themed conference.
This year, the event will be held in Nashville, USA for three days starting on the 25th (local time). Prior to this, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's performance was held in Butler, Pennsylvania, USA on the 13th.
The shooting occurred during the speech. An official spokesman for the Trump campaign said, "Mr. Trump is not seriously injured and is receiving treatment at a local facility."
Shortly after the gunman's assassination attempt, Trump was briefly treated at a nearby hospital before being taken to a hospital in Pennsylvania.
Trump moved to his personal golf club in New Jersey, about 300 kilometers away from the stadium.
"I will depart for Key as scheduled," he said. "I tried to postpone the plan, but I cannot allow the shooter or would-be assassins to change my schedule or anything else."
