TWICE to perform halftime show for 2024 Coupang Play Series K League vs Tottenham

'TWICE' will appear in the halftime show of the '2024 Coupang Play' series.

　Coupang Play has announced 'TWICE' as the performance team for the halftime show of the '2024 Coupang Play Series' Team K League and Tottenham Hotspur (hereafter, Tottenham), which will be held at 8pm on 31st of this month.

　TWICE' has performed many hit songs to date and is popular with the public, and is active on the global stage with regular album releases in Japan and a world tour. The group has also solidified its position as a global artist, ranking first on the Billboard 200 and holding the most music videos with more than 100 million views among girl groups worldwide. TWICE, which is also regarded as K-POP's representative 'stadium artist', will be the host of the 2024 Coupang Play Series will be held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

　TWICE' said, "We are happy to decorate the stage for the halftime show of the 2024 Coupang Play Series" and expressed their enthusiasm, "We will do our best to present the best stage to the fans who have been waiting for the Coupang Play Series".

　In one of the matches of the Coupang Play Series, Team K League and Tottenham will face each other, with Tottenham, who visited South Korea in the 2022 Coupang Play Series, returning to the country this year with Son Heung-min as their captain. Team K-League will make the match even more special for K-League fans, as it is made up of the fan eleven selected by fans through Coupang Play, with Yang Min-hyuk and the K-League official app voting.

　The performance teams for the halftime shows of the two matches against Bayern Munich and Tottenham on 3rd August will be announced later.
