Seo In Guk and Ahn Jae Hyun graced the cover gravure of the August issue of the magazine COSMOPOLITAN. Standing at 180 cm and 186 cm tall respectively, the two, dressed in chic hair and make-up and wearing tight suits, showed off their fantastic visuals, sometimes creating a deep and sad atmosphere like the protagonists of ‘No Sad Song for My Broken Heart.’, and sometimes creating a happy and armchair atmosphere.
In an interview held alongside the photogravure shoot, the two talked about the music video of K.will's ‘No breakup song that suits me’, which has been viewed over 5.26 million times, and the continuing hot topic of conversation about ‘World Gay’. Seo In Guk and Ahn Jae Hyun said, "We are learning about the recent meme culture derived from YouTube and SNS. We are both having a lot of fun right now and it's like being in an idol unit."
On his passionate performance in the music video, Ahn Jae-hyun said, "I've seen many of Wong Kar-wai's films, such as Buenos Aires and Brokeback Mountain. The day before filming alone, I watched four films', revealing his readiness for a fresh start. Seo In-guk boasted, "I gave the best performance of my life" and added, "I was so close to him and we are old friends of the same age that I was very shy and laughed when we first shot the scene where we were a few millimetres away from each other's lips, but once I tried it, I was hooked. I was so motivated that I suggested my opinion to the director and we did several takes." The duo also revealed the behind-the-scenes of the music video, particularly the scene where Seo In Guk approaches Ahn Jae Hyun to kiss him, and it was Ahn Jae Hyun's opinion to open his eyes, but that take was ultimately used.
Amidst the diverse interpretations of the music video, Seo In Guk said, ‘Fans talked a lot about the drama “Lovely Runner”, and such interpretations were interesting’, while Ahn Jae Hyun said, "It was interesting to interpret In Guk being reborn and reuniting with me like in the film 'Bungee Jump’." When Ahn Jae-hyun said, "I want to invite the author who wrote the thesis in our music video to YouTube", Seo In-guk showed his passion, "I'll invite him, I want to be in it."
Regarding the fans' enthusiasm for the three films, Seo In-guk expressed his wish that “Prequel looks interesting and it would be good to be in the series”, and Ahn Jae-hyun said that “it would be good to make a solid film” and asked, "Shall we make it a R18?" Seo In-guk joked, "I'll ask a representative of a production company I know", and the mood remained relaxed. Seo In-guk also said, "The emotions of the character Seo In-guk were revealed through the ending of the first part and the second part, so the character Ahn Jae-hyun already holds the key to the storyline." When Ahn Jae-hyun said, "Now I'm going to cry," Seo In-guk laughed and said, "Yes, I want to stop crying now."
Seo In Guk and Ahn Jae Hyun, who are the same age, became friends 12 years ago when they filmed K.Will's ‘Please Don't...’ music video. The two had never met at the time, but became friends when K.will bought them drinks after the shoot. Seo In Guk said "He drank so much that he didn't come out of the toilet. He didn't come out for too long, so I went to the toilet and found him stretched out and asleep. He was so cute. That's when we became really close", recalled Ahn Jae-hyun, "I heard that I was asleep holding the toilet bowl. I don't remember", he laughed. Seo In Guk said, "I also turned off the cutoff notification and was a complete introvert who was afraid of the phone, but 'Please Don't...’ Since then, Jaehyun contacted me constantly. It was Jaehyun who kept the connection going. I was so grateful that I wondered if he had organised this for 12 years."
