Gallup Korea reported that "President Yoon's approval rating has remained in the low to mid 20% range for the three months since the general election.
"The number of people who approved of President Yoon approached the 30% level, while disapproval dropped by 8% from 68% last week," he explained. The most common reason for approving President Yoon was "diplomacy" (31%). This is a decrease from the previous survey.
The most common reason for disapproval was "economy, welfare, and prices" (15%). Meanwhile, the approval rating for political parties was 35% for the ruling People's Power Party and 27% for the Democratic Party of Japan.
The ruling party's approval rating remained the same as in the previous survey, while the Democratic Party of Korea dropped by 3%. Other notables included the Fatherland Reform Party at 8% and independents at 23%.
