Trump: ”I'm good friends with Kim Jong Un”... ”He probably misses me”

Former US President Donald Trump, who has been selected as the Republican presidential nominee, has touted his "closeness" to North Korean leader Kim Jong Eun.
On the final day of the Republican National Convention on the 18th (local time), former President Trump said in his speech accepting the next presidential nomination, "I was good friends with Kim Jong Un of North Korea.
"The media didn't like this. They said, 'How can you get along with him (Kim)?'" he said.
Former President Trump held his first televised meeting with US President Joe Biden on the 27th of last month.
During the debate, Kim Jong Un was mentioned several times. In his speech, former President Trump said, "It's good to be friends with someone who has a lot of nuclear weapons," and added, "I don't get along with them."
"We have worked closely together and we have halted North Korea's missile launches," he said. "Now North Korea continues its provocations, but if we meet again, I think we will work well together."
"He probably wants to see me and misses me," he added.
