In particular, Choe Song-hee attended the ARF, the only regional security forum in which North Korea is present.
Attention is focused on whether North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui will attend. Laos, which has maintained friendly relations with North Korea, has encouraged North Korea to attend since it is the ASEAN chair this year.
In addition, as this year marks the 30th anniversary of the founding of the ARF, the participation of the 27 dialogue partners and major friendly countries is all the more important.
