A five-year-old boy who fell unconscious at a taekwondo dojo in Yangju, Gyeonggi-do, has died. The director of the dojo who abused the child and left him unconscious has been arrested by the family.

According to the police, A-kun was screaming for help, but B-kun was left alone and A-kun lost consciousness and was unable to breathe.
While the doctor was administering CPR to the patient at the hospital, Mr. B returned to his own dojo and showed the CCTV footage of the incident.
During the police investigation, Mr. B explained that it was a prank, but his family expressed indignation, saying, "It wasn't just a one-time thing."
The grandmother of the deceased child told KBS, "It seems that the child was probably put inside (the rolled up mat) three or four times (before)."
When she came home, she said, "Mom, this hurts. The director put me on a blue mat." In addition, Mr. B did not apologize to the family, but said, "Please settle the matter."
The uncle of the dead child expressed his anger, saying, "It's wrong to put this word first. I want them to receive the maximum punishment that the law allows. That's all I want."
Meanwhile, with the death of Mr. A, the charge against Mr. B, the director of the Taekwondo dojo, is expected to be changed from child abuse resulting in serious injury to a different charge, such as child abuse resulting in death.
