Yu A In, suspect currently on drug trial, indicted on charges of sexual assault against same-sex couple

The news that actor Yu A In has been sued for sexual assault against a woman has come as a shock. On the 26th, the Chosun Ilbo reported that the Seoul Yongsan Police Station had arrested Yu A In for sexual assault against a woman.
According to the report, Yu A In is accused of sexually assaulting a man named A while he was sleeping at an officetel in Yongsan-gu on the 14th.
Ms. A woke up to find out that she had been sexually assaulted and filed a complaint with the police the next day.
Police suspect that Yu A In may have committed the crime while under the influence of drugs.
Yu A In is currently under investigation. For about two years since September 2020, she has been taking medical propofol and other drugs 181 times at 14 hospitals under the pretext of sleep anesthesia for beauty treatments, and has been using other people's names to buy medicines.
She is currently on trial for allegedly illegally prescribing sleeping pills. The prosecution has sought a four-year prison sentence, a 2 million won (US$2,000) fine, and a 1.5 million won (US$1,600) surcharge.
