At psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong's hospital, Hani of ‘EXID’, who promised to marry him when she was informed that a patient had died, came under fire.

Recently, Hani's Instagram has been flooded with comments with content such as "People died but to inform the congratulations", "I feel sorry only for the bereaved families", "Did you know about the medical accident", and "Marriage must be cautious".

SBS reported that a patient, a 33-year-old woman, died at a psychiatric hospital in Bucheon run by a well-known psychiatrist. According to the media, it had been 17 days since she was admitted to the hospital for treatment of diet pills poisoning with narcotic ingredients. The cause of death is presumed to be a pseudo-intestinal obstruction.

It was subsequently learned that the psychiatrist in question was Mr Yang Jae Woong. In particular, criticism has continued when it was learned that Yang Jae Woong announced her marriage on the 1st June, four days after the patient's death on the 27th. Since the marriage announcement, Yang Jae Woong has appeared on a number of broadcasts and disclosed her marriage episode. Negative views abound on this as well.

The bereaved family claimed that, compared to the time of admission, the patient's stomach had swelled severely, but she could not receive medical care from the hospital's internal medicine doctor or solicitation for treatment at other hospitals, and that she was admitted to a single room and given only medication.

The hospital stated that it was difficult to suspect a bowel obstruction because the deceased patient had chronic constipation and her abdominal pain was not persistent. The hospital also explained that the doctor on duty was on call on the day of the accident, and that they had been educated on how to deal with accidents on a regular basis, and that there were no problems with their response at the time.

The police received a complaint from the bereaved family and launched an investigation, accusing the hospital's representative director, staff and others of violating the Medical Service Act.

After being informed of these facts, Yang Jae Woong stated via his agency MYSTIC STORY, "First of all, in relation to the incident that occurred during his hospitalisation at W True Hospital, he and all the medical staff were unable to hide their grief, and they sincerely apologise to the bereaved families who are in grief at the loss of the deceased and his family. The incident occurred at the hospital where he is currently a representative, and as the director of W True Hospital, I am taking this incident very seriously."

He continued "The hospital is doing its best to cooperate with external agencies in the ongoing investigation, including providing security camera footage of the entire situation at the time, including medical charts" and added "Specific details regarding the treatment process for the deceased and the incident are currently under investigation, so we are not providing speculative information regarding the treatment process. We ask that you refrain from making speculative or inflammatory statements about the treatment process.

Yang Jae-woong also said, "Under the current Medical Service Act, medical personnel are obliged not to divulge the details of patient treatment, but please understand that we cannot give detailed replies to the questions asked" and added, "Not only the hospital director himself, but all medical staff will cooperate with the ongoing investigation to the maximum extent and will be sincere. The hospital director, as well as all medical staff, will cooperate with the ongoing investigation to the best of their ability and will fulfil their responsibilities according to the medical and legal decisions made in this regard. Once again, we convey our deepest condolences and consolation to the bereaved family," he added.

This position of Yang Jae-eun is also currently being met with an outpouring of accusations against her and his girlfriend, Hani.
