Yang Jae-eun, a mental health specialist and talent who postponed his marriage to EXID member Hani due to controversy over the death of a patient, is seeking a 10 billion won (approximately 1 billion yen) lump sum.
According to a Financial News report on the 24th, Yang Jae-eun will be moving to Hanwha, Yongsan-gu, Seoul in July 2022.
He purchased the five-story building with one basement floor in the Hannam-dong area under the name of Brother World Co., Ltd., of which he is the representative.
The building has a site area of 348 square meters and a total floor area of 988.79 square meters.
The actual transaction was reportedly worth 10 billion won. However, as part of the redevelopment project in the Hannam 3 area, people have started moving in, and the building is currently vacant except for the basement. The building is scheduled to be renovated next year.
It is expected to be demolished in the middle of the year, but industry insiders speculate that Yang Jae-eun purchased the building to make money in reconstruction.
Meanwhile, on the 23rd, the National Human Rights Commission announced that a woman, A, had been forced to go to the hospital where Yang Jae-eun serves as the director.
The National Human Rights Commission of Korea decided to request an investigation into the case in which a woman died under duress. "During the investigation, we discovered false records in the records of the victim's isolation and coercion," the agency said.
"We have decided to ask the hospital director, the attending physician, and other hospital personnel to investigate the case," the hospital said. Prior to this, in May, A visited Yang Jae Eun's hospital for treatment for diet pill addiction.

According to the management office, the postponed date has not been decided. Yang Jae-eun then appeared as a witness for the National Assembly Health and Welfare Committee's national audit in October and announced the details of the patient death.
