”AGI Conference 2024” will be held with the theme ”AI that will make money in the AGI era”
The Korean general economic weekly magazine "Maekyung ECONOMY" celebrated its 45th anniversary and held a generative AI star event on the 25th of this month at the Seoul JW Marriott Hotel with the theme "AI for Profit in the AGI Era."
The conference was held in collaboration with tech startup 42Maru. The "AGI Conference 2024" is a forum where participants will learn about how generative AI technology, which has emerged in Chat GPT, is now being applied to medical, financial, manufacturing, and marketing fields.
"Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)" is bringing about innovations in various fields such as computing, computing power, and other fields, and is having a major impact on human life in general.
The theme of the event was "AGI: The Artificial Intelligence of All Ages." AGI is now a technology that mimics human intelligence and integrates a variety of cognitive functions. It includes everything from problem solving to learning, understanding, and reasoning abilities.
In addition, AI has gone beyond simple technological innovation and is now at a stage where it is already producing real business results in various companies.
At this conference, we will share the latest trends in AI and introduce examples of how it can be applied to business.

He began his presentation by introducing the company's growth story from the early days of its business to the present. Sendbird chose to expand into Silicon Valley, USA, and is a company that provides chat services, i.e. connecting people with each other.
However, over time, more and more of our clients have started using Sendbird's solutions to connect their businesses with their customers.
Sendbird has been expanding into the business market since developing an API for business messaging specifically for communication between companies and their customers, and has continued to grow in earnest.
Now, after going through various investment rounds, Sendbird has become the first Korean startup to become a unicorn company from Silicon Valley.
In the startup category, we selected "AI Store," which has recently released a variety of commercial AI solutions, with the theme of AI customization optimized for businesses.
The announcements by Kim Do-gyun, CEO of startup DALPHA, which has been gaining attention as a result of its launch, as well as those by Kim Dong-hwan, CEO of 42Maru, also drew attention.
Kim Dong-hwan, CEO of ICT, said, "This event will cover a variety of topics, including the applicability of AI, AI ethics and stability, and the possibility of applying AI technology to business.
42Maru, a company leading the domestic commercialization of AI, will provide AGI insights through actual industrial application cases of AI technology.
