・This work pays homage to Beckett's absurdist drama "Waiting for Godot," and reinterprets it in a simpler and more entertaining way, winning critical acclaim both in and out of the public eye. This work depicts the protagonist of the play "Waiting for Godot" in the theater dressing room.
The play follows Esther and Bal, understudies for Estragon and Vladimir. Waiting endlessly backstage, the two actors are constantly challenged by themes of art, life and theatre.
Their performances, sometimes humorous and sometimes serious, pose essential questions to the audience about life, art, and the world.
The main characters, Esther and Val, are the replacements for Estragon and Vladimir in "Waiting for Godot," respectively.
In particular, this season will feature fixed pairs, so even though it is the same show, it will be a unique experience of watching a different show for each pair.
Seung-jae, Kai as "Bal", and Minho (SHINee) performed the combination of the experienced Esther and the novice Bal, while Kwak Dong Yeon as "Esther" and Park Joon as "Bal"
