Jin Air is preparing for increased travel demand during the mid-autumn celebration holiday period from September 13 to 19.
The airline said on the 7th that it plans to increase the number of international flights, particularly to popular destinations, by increasing the number of flights per day from one to two, and by increasing the number of seats available.
First, the routes that will have one additional flight per day for six days from September 13 to September 18 are the Incheon-Nyanyan and Incheon-Taipei routes.
Two flights will be operated per day. For the Incheon-Fukuoka route, nine flights will be added over the seven days from the 13th to the 19th, and for the Incheon-Guam route, one flight will be added each on the 15th and 18th of September.
The number of seats available on international flights from Busan will also increase. The number of flights on the Busan-Clark route will increase from four times a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) to one on September 13th and one on the 17th, and the number of flights on the Busan-Narita route will increase from four times a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday).
Starting September 14th, the number of flights will be increased from one per day to two, meaning that the Busan-Taipei route will operate seven times a week from September 14th.
A Jin Air official said, "We decided to increase flights in response to the increased demand for overseas travel during the holiday period. We will continue to respond to market demand.
"We will do our best to increase convenience and customer satisfaction through flexible route operation."
