Work vehicle collision on Seoul subway: 2 workers killed, 1 injured (South Korea)

At around 2:21 a.m. on the 9th, a motor car inspecting the up-bound tracks collided with a motor car engaged in track repair work at Guro Station on Seoul Subway Line 1, killing two workers.
According to fire officials and the Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL), two workers were killed in the accident, and one suffered a broken leg and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The employee was identified as a Korea Railroad Corporation employee. Until around 5:40 a.m. on the day, 10 local trains and 5 high-speed trains were delayed by 10 to 30 minutes, and currently, train operations are being delayed.
The Korea Railroad Corporation and police are currently investigating the exact cause of the accident, and the Ministry of Employment and Labor plans to investigate whether the Act on Punishment of Serious Accidents can be applied.
