President Yoon and former President Lee Myung-bak attend dinner together... First official meeting since taking office - South Korean media

President Yoon Seok-yeol and former President Lee Myung-bak met in public for the first time since the inauguration of the Yoon administration. President Yoon and former President Lee discussed national policy, including the export of nuclear power plants, at the meeting.

South Korea has been selected as the preferred negotiating partner. This is the first time in 15 years that South Korea has exported a domestically produced nuclear power plant since it received an order for the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2009 during the Lee administration.
"It was President Lee who laid the foundation for nuclear power exports," said a senior South Korean official. "President Yoon and President Lee are also expected to discuss reconciliation within the ruling party."
President Yoon also invited former President Park Geun-hye to the official residence at the end of last year. Of the three surviving former presidents, former President Moon Jae-in is still based in Yongsan.
