Boy group Stray Kids' Felix posted an apology in relation to his reference to a Japanese song on Korea's Gwangbokjeol.

On the 15th August, Felix said, "First of all, I apologise to all people including my fans who were disappointed by my careless appearance."

Felix apologised, saying, "I mentioned the Japanese song when I was talking about the short challenge with my fans through my personal community at dawn on 15 August" and "I sincerely apologise for showing a lack of discretion on the important Kwangbok Festival".

He added "I deeply regret my lack of historical awareness. I am lacking in some areas, and I will study, think and act further and be careful not to repeat such a thing", he added.

On the same day, on the paid fan communication platform 'bubble', Felix made a controversial reference to the Japanese animation challenge on the day of Kwangbokyong.
