The airline announced on the same day that six flights would be canceled. It also announced that four flights to Tokyo would be delayed on the 16th. A Korean Air representative said, "We notified customers of this through individual notices and our website."
"For customers whose flights have been canceled, we plan to minimize inconvenience by operating delayed flights or changing aircraft during periods when the typhoon is not affecting them," the company said.
Jeju Air announced on the 16th that it would cancel five flights scheduled to fly from Incheon and Busan to Tokyo.
Asiana Airlines also announced on the 16th that it would cancel six flights to Tokyo and delay two.
