Siwon of the group "SUPER JUNIOR" is trying to solidify his position as a "romantic comedy craftsman."
CHOSUN's new weekend TV series "DNA Lover" is about genetic researcher Han So Jin (Jung In Sun), who has had many failed relationships, finally leaving his wife.
This is a romantic comedy that stimulates the five senses, in which a man searches for his partner through a gene. It stars a diverse cast of unique actors, including Siwon, Jung In-Sun, Lee Tae-Hwan, and Jung Yu-Jin.
In "DNA Lover," Siwon plays the role of obstetrician-gynecologist Shim Yeon-woo, who is extremely kind to the pregnant women and babies who visit the hospital, but is very lenient when it comes to romance outside of work.
He will show off his ruthlessly calm side and the charm of the extreme contrast between their two sides.
On his thoughts on the genre, he said, "Through this drama, I want to be a romantic comedy again.
I am grateful to have the opportunity to greet you at N'ru. Unlike the characters I have played so far, I will be studying the various sides of Shim Yeon Woo in more detail.
