Onew of the group "SHINee" revealed the reason why he left management office SM Entertainment after 17 years.
Onew appeared on 2TV's "THE SEASONS - ZICO's Artists." On this day, Onew said, "During that time, I was able to meet the audience in person and listen to my songs.
"I changed my mind and decided that I wanted to meet more people, share my voice, and have a positive impact, even if just a little," he confessed.

In particular, Onew recently left SM Entertainment, where he had been with for 17 years, to join a new agency.
He signed an exclusive contract with Griffin Entertainment and started to go out on his own. He said, "It's actually a really good company, and after staying there for a long time, I felt like I was settling in.
So I thought I'd try a bit harder and see what I could do. It's only been three or four months since I came out.
I do solo activities by myself and then I do them together with SHINee. I don't just leave the group, I do them together.
It feels like living alone at home with my parents," he explained. He continued, "I think I've been able to do a lot of things that I couldn't do or wouldn't have tried before.
The most interesting thing recently has been that I've had a lot of fun working as an A&R (Artists and Repertoire)."
