At the Gudong intersection, a taxi driven by a man in his 70s, Mr. A, collided with another taxi. The impact of the accident caused Mr. A's car to crash into a nearby mobile phone store, damaging the entrance and windows.
The vehicle was damaged, causing a nearby pedestrian in his 30s to fall over in shock. Based on the footage from the surveillance camera and the vehicle's dashcam, the police believe that Mr. A violated the traffic signal and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
Also, at around 12:30 p.m. on the same day, an SUV driven by a woman in her 60s, Ms. B, crashed into a nearby shopping building in Yangchon-eup, Gimpo City.
After the accident, Mr. B complained of neck pain and was taken to the hospital, but his life was not in danger. Mr. B told the police, "The car suddenly accelerated."
A police official said, "Fortunately, both stores where the accidents occurred were closed. No one was seriously injured.
There was none."
