Child ”left unattended” in middle of road... Mother ”cries” after child hit by car in China

In China, a child was crossing the road with his mother when he started throwing a tantrum, causing the mother to leave the child alone, resulting in the child being hit by a car.
On the 16th, several Chinese social media sites posted a video of a child lying on the road and throwing a tantrum at his mother in Guangdong Province, China, on the 13th of this month, being hit by a car.
According to local media, at around 8pm on the 13th, a 3-year-old boy was hit by a car while lying on a road in Guangdong Province and injured.
In the security camera footage released on the day of the accident, a child who was crossing the road with his mother started to get mad and jumped into the middle of the road.
The mother tried to wake the child up but he wouldn't listen, so she left him and crossed the road by herself.
A car then turned right toward the child and entered the road.
The car ran over the child without noticing him lying down. The mother, who saw what was happening, immediately returned to her child's former and cried while holding the child in her arms.
The child sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
