According to local media, at around 8pm on the 13th, a 3-year-old boy was hit by a car while lying on a road in Guangdong Province and injured.
In the security camera footage released on the day of the accident, a child who was crossing the road with his mother started throwing a tantrum and ran into the middle of the road.
The mother tried to wake the child up but he wouldn't listen, so she left him and crossed the road by herself.
After that, a car turned right toward the child and fell onto the road.
The mother, who had seen the situation, immediately returned to her child's former self, picked up the child and cried.
The child sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
