China's general public budget revenue in January-July down 2.6% year-on-year - Chinese media
The Ministry of Finance of China has released the income and expenditure situation of the national general public budget (equivalent to general account) for the first seven months of this year. According to the information released, the national general public budget revenue for the first seven months of this year was 1.1% lower than the same period last year.
The total was 13.5663 trillion yen (approximately 274 trillion yen), down 2.6% from the previous fiscal year. This was due to the fact that taxes deferred in the same period of the previous fiscal year were paid by small and medium-sized enterprises, and tax cuts were introduced in the middle of the previous fiscal year.
If special factors are excluded, the increase will be about 1.2%. Divided into central and local governments, the central government's general public budget revenue will decrease by 6.4% to 5,974.5 billion yen (about 121 trillion yen).
The national tax revenue was down 5.4% to 11.124 trillion yen (about 225 trillion yen), and non-tax revenue was up 12% to 2.4423 trillion yen.
Meanwhile, national general public budget expenditures for January to July increased 2.5% year-on-year to 15.5463 trillion yen (approximately 314 trillion yen). Of this, the main expenditures of the central general public budget increased 9.3% year-on-year to 15.5463 trillion yen (approximately 314 trillion yen).
government spending increased by 1.5% to 2.1444 trillion yen (about 43 trillion yen), while local general public budget expenditures increased by 1.5% to 13.4019 trillion yen (about 271 trillion yen).
