Telegram releases statement on founder's detention: ”CEO Durov has nothing to hide”

Telegram has clarified its position regarding the detention of its founder, Pavel Durov.
On the 25th (local time), Telegram issued an official statement saying, "Telegram is

We hope that this situation will be resolved quickly," he added. The content was posted on the Telegram News Channel at around 12:00 p.m. on the 25th (Pacific Standard Time - PST).
Durov was arrested by French authorities at an airport outside Paris on the 24th while on his way to France on a private plane from Baku, Azerbaijan.
He was reportedly arrested on various charges related to lack of censorship on the Telegram messaging app, but there has been no official announcement yet that he has been arrested on criminal charges.
French authorities are scheduled to issue an official statement regarding Pavel Durov's detention on the 26th.
