FTISLAND's Lee Jae Jin shared his thoughts after completing the final performance of the musical "Your Lie in April."
The Mi-Jun was held at the CJ Towol Theater in Seoul Arts Center from June 28 to August 25.
The musical "Your Lie in April" tells the story of an unlucky prodigy pianist boy and a genius violinist girl who meet and grow together through music.
In the drama, Jaejin plays the role of Watari Ryota, a member of the soccer team and the most popular boy in school. With his delicate acting and solid singing ability, he portrays the complex life of an adolescent boy.
In particular, he expressed the dazzling beauty of youth with his comic book-like visuals and showed off his charming dance moves, solidifying his position as a "musical actor worth watching and trusting."
After the final performance, Jaejin said through the management office FNC Entertainment, "It's already the last performance, time has flown by so quickly. This musical is full of atmosphere and charm.
"I was instantly drawn to the power of the work. It was an opportunity to remember the days I had forgotten and to warm up my life once again," he said, showing his special affection for the work.
He continued, "I'm truly grateful to the audience who loved our performance so much and shared our tears and laughter with us.
"I hope that the performance that all the actors and staff worked hard on will remain as a fond memory," he said, expressing his sincerity to the audience.
Meanwhile, Jaejin is also active as the bassist for FTISLAND.
In July, they released their seventh full-length album "Serious" and ranked highly on global charts. They will begin their Asia tour "2024" on September 14th in Manila, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, and Macau.
