Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung: ”The guns are always out... Let's unite into one bigger team” (South Korea)

Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, emphasized on the 27th, "The thing we must be most wary of is turning distant comrades into enemies."
That afternoon, Chairman Lee wrote on his Feibook that "division (within the party) is the cause of defeat.
"In the last general election, the great people were commanded to unite the Democratic Party together and take responsibility for the democracy and people's livelihood that the administration has destroyed," Lee said.
"Many of our comrades are working together to open up a new future through these strict orders," he said. "However, in some areas, we are hearing voices of division using extreme language, saying, 'Let's get rid of someone.'
"I am very worried about this. We are not fighting against the internal evil, but against the external evil," he said. "No matter how big the gaps are within us, we are fighting against the enemy that we must defeat."
"Is it bigger than the difference? The more intense the conflict within us, the more likely it is that there will be someone smiling behind our backs," he said. He added, "Internal criticism should be based on facts, with the courtesy of comrades, and with dignity.
"If you attack with false and exaggerated facts or use emotional slander and abusive language, you will become an enemy," Lee said. "Criticism of colleagues should be based on love.
We must fulfill the responsibility bestowed upon us by the people and history," said Lee. "Let's overcome small differences and unite into one even bigger team. Let's gather the potential of the people together and overcome the crisis.
"Let's overcome these difficulties and move forward together to a country where the people are happy," he said. "In the name of the Democratic Party of Korea, let's become a stronger concrete to protect the lives of the people and turn today's despair into tomorrow's hope."
