On the 29th, the China Logistics Purchasing Federation announced logistics-related data for January to July of this year. The recovery trend in logistics demand is generally stable. In July, the weather was affected by high temperatures and heavy rain in some areas.
However, the total value of logistics increased slightly from the previous month, maintaining a recovery trend. From January to July, the total value of social logistics in China was 197.7 trillion former (about 4016 trillion yen), up 5.5% from the same period last year.
Total social logistics volume in July increased 5.3% year-on-year, up 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. Since April, logistics demand has been on the rise and is maintaining a gradual recovery trend.
In July, the stability of logistics for industrial products was strengthened. By industry, the total logistics value of 33 out of 41 industrial classifications increased compared to the same period last year.
