Eマート竹田店を新たなショッピングモールへリニューアル、休憩・体験スペースを強化=韓国
E-Mart Takeda store renovated into new shopping mall, strengthening rest and experience space (Korea)
Major retailer E-Mart has opened the first Starfield Market, a large shopping mall that was renovated from the E-Mart Jukjeon store.
Starfield Market features a large library called the Book Ground, an event stage where various events are held, and a pop-up store area.
The entire space, including the "Pop-up Zone," is 2,314 square meters in size and is designed to look like a single unit. On the second floor, there is a 82 square meter "Pop-up Zone" for children to play.
The reason for this structure is that the area around the store is well-connected with the road network, so it attracts a wide variety of customers on weekends, and also attracts many customers with school-age children.
Many of the stores are frequented by families. Meanwhile, E-Mart has strengthened its grocery section, stocking about 140 kinds of fresh foods and prepared foods so that customers can stop by on a daily basis.
In one corner of the fresh food section, there is a "wholesale zone" where you can purchase bulk products at a discount of 20% or more, and a "pasta zone" where you can make your own dough in-store.
The mall features a bakery selling pastries, a livestock section selling fresh meat at all price ranges, and a fresh deli selling prepared foods such as bento boxes and sushi.
