At the trial, the "Daldeok Detention Center" denied the allegations. On the 2nd (today), at the Incheon District Court Criminal 11 Exclusive, the group was indicted on charges of defamation under the law on the promotion of information and communication network use and information protection.
The first hearing of YouTuber A, who was indicted on charges of slander and insults, was held. A is the operator of the "Daldeok Detention Center" and has been accused of slandering many stars, including Jang Won Young.
On that day, Mr. A's lawyer said, "I admit that I made the video, but I deny the remaining charges," and filed a lawsuit against him for defamation.
He denied the allegations, saying, "There was no intention to cause defamation or obstruction of business, and even if the allegations amount to defamation, they were believed to be true, so there is no illegality involved."
The judge responded by asking, "So it wasn't intentional?" Mr. A's lawyer denied the allegations, saying, "It is unlikely to be considered defamation."
Previously, since 2021, Mr. A has been posting slanderous comments against Jang Won Young, singer Kang Daniel, and boy group "BTS."
Jang Won Young's management office, Starship Entertainment, has requested personal information from Google, which is headquartered overseas, four times.
Jang Won Young also filed a lawsuit against A for damages and won the case. However,
