He continued, "Increasing the number of doctors is the right policy. However, I have said from the beginning that it is right to increase the number gradually." He added, "Doctors are in a difficult position in Korea.
"There's no way we can compromise with the president of the Korea Medical Association, who is one of the most intelligent people in the country, but who is so stubborn in his words," he added. "Politics is about words, but people who are good at talking but don't put their words into practice are not good at it."
